Can a Newborn Have Emotional Baggage? A Look into Emotion Code for Babies
When we think of a newborn baby, we often think of a "blank slate"—a fresh start, untouched by the weight of the world. But as an energy healing practitioner, I’ve often wondered: if we start as blank slates, why do so many children struggle with self-worth or negative thoughts by the time they reach grade school?
Last week, I had the incredible honor of working with a five-week-old baby, and the session provided some fascinating answers through the lens of the Emotion Code, Body Code and Belief Code.
We Don’t Always Start at "Zero"
While a newborn hasn’t had time to accumulate their own "life drama," they can come into this world carrying energies that they didn't create. In this session, we explored how a baby can arrive with baggage from various sources:
Inherited Energies: Emotional baggage passed down through ancestral lines. When we release these, they release for all parties involved, all the way back to the source.
Inherited Belief Systems: These are not just single emotions, but entire "blueprints" for how a person views themselves and the world, passed down through ancestral lines. A baby can arrive with an existing belief system—such as "life is a struggle" or "I am not safe"—that acts as a filter for all their future experiences before they've even had their first conscious thought.
In Utero Trapped Emotions: These are emotional energies that are trapped specifically during the time spent in the womb.
Absorbed Emotions: These occur when a person "picks up" an emotion from someone else. It is important to note that these can be absorbed from anyone in proximity—not just the mother—and are a separate category from emotions trapped during gestation.
Preconception Baggage: These are energies that exist before the physical body is even formed. These are things we brought with us into this lifetime, existing before the moment of conception.
The Session: Giving a "Fresher" Start
Working via Zoom with the baby and her mother, I connected by proxy to perform muscle testing. Despite her age, we found significant information that was already impacting her subconscious:
An Inherited Belief: We identified the belief, "I don’t deserve to feel good or be happy." This wasn't her own creation, but it was there, potentially waiting to affect her self-worth as she grew.
Specific Clearing: We were able to identify and release several trapped emotional energies, including an In Utero Trapped Emotion. Her mother mentioned she had been going through some emotional things during the early stages of pregnancy, which aligned perfectly with what we found.
The Power of Bypassing the Mind
Here is the most incredible part: A five-week-old baby can’t sit across from me and reflect on her life. She can’t identify a limiting belief or tell me why she feels a certain way.
That is the beauty of this work. We don’t need the conscious mind to "figure it out." By using muscle testing and connecting via proxy, we can identify exactly what the subconscious is holding onto—even when the client is far too young to speak for themselves. It’s a level of precision that traditional methods just can't reach.
A Universal Connection for the Non-Verbal
This session really highlighted why this work is such a vital tool for those who can’t use traditional "reflective" communication. Whether it’s a newborn baby who hasn't found their words yet, or an autistic individual who may process social and verbal cues differently, they don't need to "talk it out" to find relief.
Many wonderful therapeutic styles require a verbal "handshake"—the ability to name a feeling or mirror a reflection. But for the non-verbal, that can be a barrier. Because we work directly with the body’s energetic frequency, we bypass the need for a verbal mirror. We meet the subconscious exactly where it is, providing a direct line to healing that is inclusive of every way a human being communicates.
The Honor of the Work
Most of my clients come to me after years of carrying trauma. Being able to work on a healthy, five-week-old baby felt like a rare gift. By clearing these inherited beliefs and trapped energies now, we gave her an even cleaner start to her journey.
She will eventually accumulate her own life experiences, but she no longer has to carry the heavy, invisible weight of baggage she brought with her. It was truly an honor to give this little one the opportunity to move forward without being hindered by the past.
